UPDERT: REBOOT THURSDAY. LET'S DO IT AGAIN. Let's see how long we can keep it up this time.
For those of you who have forgotten, this is the IRC's address:
I think we can assume that the Christmas Exchange 2010 went to Hell and nestled itself into the ice pit Satan resides or clad itself in a cloak of iron (see what I did there? Me neither). Maybe next time, we should opt to send it digitally if any of us are too inept to send physical copies. Dunno if I want to head it this upcoming December again.
Since the holidays, however, everyone has been silent. Right, right, we all have lives and stuff, but we're all friends, I figure. I'm just as concerned about the livelihood of you digital, non-IRL friends as I would be with my normal, physical, IRL friends. Hell, I've confided in some of you more than I have to anyone else I've ever known IRL. I know some of you feel the same way.
I propose we throw an online party: on IRC, namely. Whether or not this will spark a new digital social movement, I don't expect anything and it isn't my intention or in my expectation that we all go back to the way things were a few years ago. Think of it as a reunion. Actually, it pretty much is a reunion.
So, how about we make an event? Depending on everyone's availability, we can set up a time period or several to jump on the good ol' IRC and see what everyone is up to? If enough people are interested, I'll pick out a day the most of us can be on at the same time.
